Ingredients
- Garlic clove (2 unit)
- Rice (75 gram)
- Water (130 gram)
- Ginger (25 gram)
- Cumin powder (10 gram)
- Coriander powder (10 gram)
- Turmeric powder (10 gram)
- Red chilli (2 unit)
- Chickpeas (200 gram)
- Plum tomatoes (200 gram)
Method
- Rinse the rice then add the water, and a bit of salt.
- Make a paste of garlic, ginger and spices.
- Slice the chillies.
- On a relatively high heat, fry the garlic, ginger, spices, and chillies for a few seconds.
- Add the chickpeas and stir.
- After a minute or so, add the tomatoes.
- Boil the rice, then once bubbling, put to the lowest heat and cover. It should take about 10 minutes.
- Serve the rice with the curry on top.
